Last nite we checked out a new cool family hangout.... It's a candy, gelato, yogurt, bakery shop..... sounds heavenly right? It was......like being a kid again for me! Jars filled with all kinds candy.. name it, they had it. On weekends they Play BINGO and you get a chance to win a free Yogurt. My son had fun playing... not happy about losing.

Fabrics Choices

So, as I have said before... I sometimes bite more then I can chew... these are my dining chairs I want to re-do. I have not started on these yet but the store where I buy my fabric is having an amazing sale and thou I wanted to go all black... I found these other fabrics I fell in love with.

I love taking an old chair and making it pretty again! I call it a chair lift... get it...?? face lift... hahaha!! here is a pair of ugly chairs I just purchased. Stay tuned for the makeover.

my new project

have been re-storing furniture for a while now.. at first it was a hobby and just recently realized I can make $$$ doing this. Perfect for me since I am a stay at home mom. It is so hard to find a job for the few hours my son is in school... much less one I can just take off on sick days and school holidays. It helps that my husband is a contractor and has all the tools I need :). I am inspired by fabrics and color. I used to love fashion magazines but now I love home decor ones. My favorite Era is mid century.. love clean lines but I just love antiques. I am currently working on a french dining set. I will post before and after pics soon. Top pic is what inspired me.
